When I was a kid, my parents took me to a lot of caves. I don't think they were trying to lose me, but I did become claustrophobic, and I don't willingly go in caves as an adult. Which is to say, I don't go at all. "Cavernous" is a memory.

I realize all the red on "Civil" can be a little disturbing, until yiu realize that it's not blood, but ink. Red ink on black ink the blood of words being spilled to make a point,

I never have a title in mind when I start a painting, unless it's some really lame joke name. What I'm going for is a feeling, which came in the form of a song lyric: "I can see clearly now the rain is gone."
